Dubai 4 Nights Budget from India: What It Really Costs
By the Tripzoy team · 6 min read
Short answer
A 4-night Dubai trip costs roughly ₹55,000 to ₹85,000 per person from India, including flights, visa, a 3 or 4-star hotel on twin sharing, the main sights and food. Budget travellers can do it for less; luxury hotels and theme parks push it much higher. All figures below are approximate and change with exchange rates and season.
Flights
Return economy flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi or Hyderabad are typically about ₹18,000 to ₹35,000 per person when booked a few weeks ahead. School holidays, Diwali and December cost more.
Visa
Most Indian passport holders need a UAE tourist visa before travel, usually about ₹6,000 to ₹9,000 for a 30-day single-entry visa through an agent or airline. Some travellers, such as those with a valid US visa or green card, or UK or EU residence, may be eligible for a visa on arrival; check the current rules.
Hotel
A 3-star hotel in Deira or Bur Dubai costs about ₹6,000 to ₹10,000 a night for a double room, and a 4-star near the metro or Marina about ₹9,000 to ₹16,000. Rates are lower from May to September, when it is very hot. Dubai also adds a tourism fee per room per night, collected by the hotel.
Sightseeing
The Burj Khalifa observation deck (levels 124/125) is roughly ₹4,000 to ₹5,500 per person at regular times, more at sunset. A shared desert safari with barbecue dinner is about ₹3,500 to ₹6,000. A Marina dhow cruise dinner is about ₹2,500 to ₹4,000. Theme parks like Aquaventure or IMG Worlds are roughly ₹6,000 to ₹9,000 each.
Transport and food
The Dubai Metro is cheap and covers most sights; a Nol card day pass costs a few hundred rupees. Taxis are fair but add up. Indian restaurants in Bur Dubai and Karama are affordable at about ₹600 to ₹1,200 per meal; malls and hotels cost more.
Sample budget per person (twin sharing)
Flights ₹25,000 · visa ₹7,000 · 4 nights 3-star hotel (half the room) ₹16,000 · Burj Khalifa + safari + cruise ₹11,000 · metro, taxis and transfers ₹4,000 · food ₹8,000. Total about ₹71,000. A package covering the hotel, transfers, sightseeing and visa help is often cheaper than booking each part separately.
