Review policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This is how Tripzoy (Idea Holiday Private Limited) collects, checks and publishes reviews of travel agents, suppliers and their services. We follow the Indian Standard IS 19000:2022 on online consumer reviews.
1. Who can review
- Only the customer of a booking made and paid through Tripzoy, after the trip is completed (the day after the trip ends), within 90 days.
- One review per booking. We ask for it once by email, WhatsApp or in your account; there is no reward for writing one.
- Tripzoy, travel agents and suppliers never write, buy or pay for reviews, and partners may not offer customers anything for a review or pressure them about it (partner agreement clause 12). We have no sponsored or paid reviews.
2. What a review contains
- A rating of the travel partner (agent or supplier) and of the trip overall, from 1 to 5 stars; optional ratings for hotels and for tours and activities.
- 20 to 2,000 characters of text and up to 6 photos. We remove location and camera details from photos when they are uploaded.
- Shown publicly with your first name and the initial of your last name, the destination, trip type and month of travel, the date of publication and the label "Verified booking".
3. What we check before publishing
A Tripzoy team member reads every review before it is published, usually within one working day. We publish positive and negative reviews alike and we never change the text or the rating. We decline a review only if it:
- is abusive, threatening, discriminatory or unlawful;
- contains personal details, such as phone numbers, email addresses or full names of other people;
- advertises something, contains links, or is not about the trip;
- is not the reviewer's own experience.
If we decline or later hide a review, we tell the reviewer why by email and in their account. They can change it and send it again within the 90 days. Reviews are not declined because the rating is low or because a partner asks.
4. Replies
The travel agent or supplier can post one public reply under each review. Replies must follow the same rules; Tripzoy removes replies that don't.
5. How ratings are calculated
- Only published reviews count. A travel partner's rating is the average of the partner ratings it received; a product's rating is the average of the overall ratings.
- Reviews published in the last 12 months count fully and older reviews count half, so the rating reflects recent service. The number of reviews is always shown next to the rating.
- Reviews are listed newest first. Ratings are one of the factors we use to offer trip requests to agents, together with destination expertise, response time and workload.
6. Reporting or removing a review
If you think a review breaks these rules, use "Report" on the review or write to hellotripzoy@gmail.com (WhatsApp +91 96967 77391) with the page link. We look into reports within 7 days. Reviewers can ask us to remove their own review at any time. Complaints can also go to our Grievance Officer (see the Terms, section 9A).
